SmartPackAI

The SmartPackAI project is based on the ‘Flexible Web Configurator’ system, which comprises a web platform with image processing tools for automatically calculating the print area on cylindrical bottles and integrating suppliers using web scraping and the Beckn protocol. The aim of the new project is to expand the existing infrastructure and enhance its technological capabilities, in particular to recognise more complex geometries (e.g. cosmetic packaging such as perfume bottles), automatically calculate the printable area and visualise this in real time. In addition, generative AI is to be used to realistically simulate logos or images on the packaging, enabling users to preview their custom designs in real time. Further AI-supported functions aim to deliver an enhanced, interactive user experience and dynamic, real-time price calculation based on historical data.
